As a result of an earlier question I began looking at various manufacturers of cordless circular saws. At the same time I realised it would not be long before I have to replace my cordless drill too

Can anyone suggest a good brand which allows the batteries to be interchanged so that I dont end up with a workshop which looks like the radio desk of the local police station? Too many batteries and chargers makes Mick a dull boy!

Hi Mick

It is worth comsidering DeWalt on the cordless front because they don't change the fittings on their batteries for different models and you can buy quite a few bare tools.

Cheers
Neil

Good news,

Thanks guys. I have a large DeWalt dealer just round the corner here so I'll go and check them out later. They are a trade shop too so perhaps the "bare" versions will be available.

Thanks again for the help all,

Mick
