Hi,

This question may be a little late in the day, but here goes... I just bought a Wurth biscuit jointer on ebay; bit of a whim really, but I've been after a 240v tool for a while.

The thing is, I know nothing about it! All I could glean from the web is that Wurth do very good quality fasteners and kitchen hardware. That was from a thread here, the gist of which was that Wurth are very guarded about their prices! Similarly so about product spec, it would seem. None the less, I gambled on their power tools being of similar quality to their fasteners...

Anybody know the tool? Having recently bought quite a few bits and pieces for various Makita tools, I'd be keen to find a source for Wurth parts too.

Cheers

Hi LJM
I think you will find Wurth power tools are just rebadged versions of other manufacturers tools. A while ago I bought a Wurth router, it was a Dewalt 621, just black instead of yellow. It even came with a Dewalt manual, although I got it second hand and that may not have been original. Can't tell from your link what the pedigree of the BJ is, have you got other images you can post, most likely someone will recognise it.

Thanks Richard,

A bit more digging seems to suggest that it's another Milwaukee/Atlas Copco/Mafell/Aeg variant. 710w, like the Milwaukee and Atlas. Once I've had a chance to give it a go, I'll report back.

About 10 years ago I bought a set of Wurth chisels that cost about£50,they held an edge for about 5 minutes because they
are so soft and useless.I would have made a better job with a rusty carrot.

Lightly used by the look of it. Having used Google translate, I'm now certain it is the same as the Milwaukee ie similar to AEG but a more powerful motor. Hopefully it will turn up today.

Thanks dangles, you've added a certain nervous anticipation to the tool's arrival!...
