Help, I'm in trouble! :(

In removing a wash basin from a vanity unit, I damaged the laminate on the front edge of the bowl cut out. I hadn't removed all of the sealant  and this pulled and broke off about 25 mm by 5mm of the laminate as I lifted the basin out. I have some of the broken laminate but it splintered and is not very usable.

SWMBO is not pleased :x :x

Replacing the worktop will be a real problem in matching up the rest of the dressing unit so I am hoping they is some form of repair kit that I can match the colour and fill in the chip.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Same thing happened to me in the kitchen.

Screwfix do a product listed for worktop joints, you can mix the colours and get a near perfect match, takes a few coats and looks like a repair for ages but it does blend in eventually and is not too noticable.

Colourfill comes in a bigger range of colours than SF joint sealant, you can get it from Woodfit but need to know make & colour of laminate.
