"Workshop Tour" (sort of)

My "workshop" had a bit of a tidy up today and a clear out. Yesterday I decided to sort out my bench as I wasn't happy with how I had my vice fitted, only I messed it up even more and my bodge job of a bench was left worse for wear. Came indoors with the hump thinking what I should do, and had a browse on eBay and saw an ideal bench not too far away which came with a QR vice too. Decided to watch it and if it went cheap enough I would bid on it. No one else bid and I won. I know its cheating a bit as everyone seems to build their own bench but it will be better than my crapola bench I had before. Its getting delivered tonight, so I emptied the shed and ripped out he crapola bench ready for the new one. Thought I may as well get a bit organised at the same time.
Its only a small 10x8 and a 1/4 of it is taken up by garden stuff, but it does me fine and as I'm not really into power tools I find it ok for now for learning more about hand tools. Plus I only aim to make small projects such as small boxes and small cabinets, I think the biggest project plan is a small coffee table one day, but it's ok for now lol.

Well, It looks like a real nice retreat to me, and as they say size doesn't matter, Add the occasional Andrea Bochelli and get the kettle fixed up, plus Fragrance of freshly cut pine, Just perfect! rodders

Very happy now lol, The bench came a little while ago and I heaved it across the garden and wrestled it into the shop :shock: Silly how little things like this can make me like a little kid but so chuffed with it :lol:

I was thinking I might fit my record 52 1/2 vice to the end? Only I would have to chop an extra 20mm out for it too fit
