Workshop Lighting

As a follow up to an earlier post about workshop lighting I've been using a 500W work site floor halogen lamp hanging from the ceiling in my garage/workshop - lovely light and also some heat (much appreciated due to no insulation (yet )) and, I assume, not prone to fire hazard as it's sealed.
Further advantages - mobility, no wiring in, cost.

For anyone considering a 500W halogen light, Aldi are selling a 500W halogen light with tripod for £11.99 as of tomorrow.

I plan to get myself one for those dark evenings where I end up cutting up sheet goods in the back yard, but being on a tripod may them them useful in the workshop too.
