Woodworm

cut and loaded a piece from one of the old walnut logs I bought a month or two ago. Seems the woodworm beat me to it. These are holes left by the big ones called locally Capricorns. The 12mm spanner will fit inside the hole. Well come Sunday there will be some very dizzy worms here, as I want to turn and complete a bowl an this wood is supposed to be seasoned although the rot has started on the outside of this end of the log.

I'm sure I saw a Doctor Who episode in 1975 that featured that worm :shock:
