Hi folks.

I have a question about woodworking. Before I begin, I would like to
first of all say that I have virtually no knowledge of woodworking,
my hobby is medieval chainmail craft.

Anyways.

I walk into your workshop, I hand you this and say I want a set
of these in the following dimensions 4x4x2 6x6x4 8x8x6 10x10x8mm

Would this even be possible?

My plan was to make rubber molds of them, from which I would then make
some clay molds, which then I would pour aluminium into, to create a fairly
unique stud, for a unique belt to be worn with a unique scalemail skirt
that I am working on.

If it is possible, how much would a set like that cost me?

much easier to get it made on a cnc router either in plastic or aluminium, if your unaware of this technology, there are lots of videos on youtube.

Hi Adidat, thats great. As it happens I will be having some cutting dies cnc milled in tool steel soon, so maybe then would be the best opportunity to have these made too. Just thought I would ask incase it was equally do'able in wood :)

Thanks
Noel

Get them 3D-printed, much cheaper than the CNC parts if you only want to use them the once
