I'm doing a project on designing and creating things from wood. If people could either reply or email me on the following subjects I'd be extremely grateful, keep in mind I will be using these as evidence and have to reference them.
- best all round tools for a workshop
- most usefull equiptment in genral woodworking
- most usefull/ affordable machinery to be used in a workshop
- an interview on a topic such as best / worse woods to use, projects, or previously stated points

Again thank you so much.

edit: I do know most information as of current but to complete my assessment I need a variety of sources, such as books emails and interviews and not solely websites, hence this post.

If you're doing a project, it makes sense that you learn these things through research of your own. There are forums, blogs and all sorts spread throughout the web. Getting people to tell you these things defeats the point of it being a project. You could find all that information by searching through this forum alone.

Also, your specifications are insanely broad- you may need to be more specific as the plethora of tools and machinery is colossal.

Good hunting.

To get anything meaningful, you will have to be more specific. "Woodworking" covers so many different specialist trades - structural carpentry, shipbuilding, joinery, cabinet making, musical instruments, turning, marquetry... the list goes on as far as you want it to.

Think about the size of your imaginary workshop too. How many people will work there? Does it have power? Are they running a business? Where in the world is it?

Etc etc etc.
