IIRC, NMA weren't there last year and Bessey were on the Price Tools stand.

I don't know about Hegner. But if their stand at the Autumn show was anything to go by, you won't be missing anything. :roll:

Tony last time I went to the Harrogate show and went to Terry's at 12 noon on the first day expecting a number of members to turnup (where was some snow that day) I was the only member there, not like the get together at Axminster

The mistake you made was going on the Friday. Every good Yorkshire man and woman would go on the Sunday, in the hope of picking up a bargain. :wink:

Gill, I was speaking to Pete from SIP at Yandles last weekend, he gave me the impression that they would be at this show. Don't take this as gospel though, I'd recommend checking first.

For clarification, the show is several miles outside of Leamington Spa, so would advise making sure you know where you're going first, I don't seem to recall that it's well signposted (if at all).

We won't be having a stand at the show this year...and it would appear we're not the only ones who'll be absent!

Mark (our Sales Manager) will be working on the Craft Supplies stand selling our products if anyone is missing their fix of our stuff!

I've sent Barry a more comprehensive answer by pm, but in case anyone thinks I've ignored the question...

I can only speak for ourselves and the decision was mainly financial. Attendance at this show (and to be fair, others too to an extent) has been decreasing for several years now and whilst we don't really make money at a show (yes, really!) the contribution this was making to expenses was getting less and less until we had to decide not to do it this year.
With limited space this show has to try harder to stay fresh but I can't help feeling that instead it has stagnated over the years; there is little to bring in new visitors nor to encourage others to come back again. (We have noticed several of the usual suspects haven't been in the last couple of years.)
Suggestions and offers of help (such as sponsoring new demonstrators) have been made to the organisers in the past but they seem to prefer to carry on as they are.

I wouldn't want to put anyone off from going and I'm sure I couldn't even if I tried but didn't want to leave the question unanswered.
