Just a thought do you know of any books or links on how to make a wooden flower pot man my mother as seen them some where and want me to make her a few iv,e shown her the one,s on e bay but they are not the one,s she keeps telling me lol

Plastic pots would probably be easiest, I would think a lathe would be the best way for you're quest, If you use wood here's a couple of links to start, --

Ok iv,e made a few wooden flower pot men for my mother that i have glued and screwed together and then plugged the screw holes with dowels ,So iv,e been wondering if a 50 mm brad nail would do the job of the screws and speed the job up a little ??
