Wood with natural corrosion inhibitor?

I am aware of some woods which product natural oil vapours to protect clothes from insect damage...such as the wonderfully aromatic Bermuda cedar....but does anyone know of a wood which would naturally inhibit corrosion on metal.

We have those little tubs Matthew has at WSH but I wonder if there is any naturally occuring solution?
