Hi All,

I know there is no official answer but in an ideal situation what would you recommend for the spacing between uprights/brackets in a twinslot/Triton type rack arrangement?

I'm guessing somewhere up to 600mm centres. Thinking of going down the Axminster heavy duty rack route, not the cheapest option so I want to get the order correct.

Many thanks for any views,

Damian

I have 600mm centres on the bottom 2 shelves and 450mm on the 2 above.

But if you are needed a lot of the Axminster racking and don't need it adjustable I would give you local small metal fabricator a ring and get a price for him making it out of 2" box section.

He may even have some scrap stuff he can reuse.

The racks I have here were the pens from the cattle courts which were salvaged when the building was knocked down and then welded up into racks.

Hi,

I made mine from Dexion fished out of the skip.
