Wood gloat... plus ideas wanted!

I've just got a nice pile of Sapele mahogany for free.

Overall there is around 60 pieces. Length varies from 2.5 meters down to just over a meter. Most of the boards seem to be 70mm wide but some are smaller.

I have just got no ideas what to make with all this wood. Any ideas? I will be making a little box but other than that I don't have any plans for this wood at the moment.

I have been told that Sapele makes a good gift!!!! :lol:

Mixed with a contrasting timber, Sycamore, Maple etc. it would make a fine Blanket box or some such thing.

Guess that's just you. It was given to me by an old antiques restorer who is packing up. Just a shame he gave all his tools to his son or it would have been an amazing score.

I have used some of this wood for projects but I'm still looking for ideas for what I can build with these thin mahogany boards.
