Wood from the BAY tree

could someone please tell me if there is there any use for this wood in say turning or other things .

It is perfectly usable if a little bland.

If your tree is big enough to harvest wood from, take a long, thin, twig, strip it of bark and leaves and skewer some good beef on it. It will be the best barbecued kebab you have ever tasted.
