Well, that is what I have had to put up with went to a steam rally and set up one of our marquees. And as I keep telling the wife I am not going to take up knitting.

While I was there picked up a few things for my workshop.
A second-hand compressor which broke the bank and some measuring tools. The compressor only cost me £16 but could do with a new switch even though the one fitted does its job of turning the compressor on and off when it reaches pressure or drops below a certain pressure but you can not turn it on and off manually as it is on all the time.
The other pieces cost either £1 or £2 each.

I even managed to buy a silly hat to keep my head warm

Is this a Sine that you are raising the Bar on model component accuracy?

Or are you just developing a new image

and contemplating sloping off into the Metal forum to get away from the knitting.

I have to confess that I have been looking at a metalworking lathe and milling machine to build working models in metal. I will still be woodturning.
I need to look at a much larger workshop to fit it all in

Don't know where you get your days from, but they have far more hours in them than we have around here.

Last week emptied a shed broke it down and replaced with new shed refitted the shelves and put everything back in. followed by the weekend I am now totally shattered. So a lazy day today
