Brought far too many clothes etc on holiday #-o

Prices of some of the tools and accessories are somewhat cheaper here in the US but alas I don't have the spare capacity to bring stuff home. Wife won't let me dump some of it for tools  and not feasible toship it.

What has shocked me even more than the cost of petrol however (70p ltr) is the price of wrangler jeans. Have bought 3 pairs of premium jeans at 18 dollars each - that's £12 a pair . Cost in the UK at least £30 - £35.

Are we being ripped off or what !!!

Just don't need any form of medical treatment unless you have valid (expensive) health insurance. The cost of health-care in the USA is insane.

Purchase another suitcase, second hand if possible (customs might leave you alone  )

Or let the wife post her clothes home and then you could use hers for the necessities.

The extra charge you will pay your airline will probably be so much lower than the savings, well unless you do get stung by customs

Listen to common sense, buy Festool gear, when you come home I will pop up to see you, again and again and again etc etc you get the idea, I may even bring my own wood!!!!
Enjoy your hols.

P.S. I was going to say my waist size is 34 for the Wranglers but SWMBO has just laughed and said,"34 inches, in your dreams".

We always fly premium economy to the States.
Take a case each and come back with an extra one. Find ones that fit inside each other or buy a soft one.
Don't forget the TAS locks on the return journey?
Tools can be preordered and sent to your hotel(s).

The baggage allowance on transatlantic flights is (was?) fairly generous we bought another very large suitcase. So big the girl at check in took one look and called for assistance! Unfortunately twas mostly full of clothes for the Grandchildren.
