Will I ever learn?

I've always had to scrimp and save to gey by and as such I'm a sucker for used tools. This time a little performance power saw. Yes i know, they're crap, but it was only really going to be for one job.
Well, it won't even get that far. The splined shaft on the rotor is snapped and chances are a Replacement, if i could even find one, would be 10x what i paid for the saw.

When will i ever bloody learn. :?

The thing is to pay such a small sum it does not matter

I have bought stuff that has exceeded my expectations so overall i think I've won
Its just the failures that stick in your mind longer

Why not strip the saw apart and sell the individual parts for spares? For some reason people will buy an individual part already removed and labeled rather than buy the whole thing and strip it themselves
