I started 3 years ago with woodworking with a Record #4 and a japanese smoother. That was a big mistake :D because since then I am looking for the perfekt plane and there is always a task which is looking for another type of a plane. I shouldn´t have read the reviews of ALF, so now a Veritas scraper-plane is on the way.

Rolf,

Thats a nice site, and some nice projects/tools/furniture you have made. I was intersted in your "plunge-bar" for your Festool, as I have the Mafell LO50E, which is the same tool, and you have given me some good ideas. :)
