Like that immensely its a belter such class and elegance never been a big fan of tulipwood but that's a nicely made piece

Nev I presume how did I cut the slots of the whirlpool.
They are done using a router and a bar and pin as you would for cutting a circle. I did those after shaping the outside and the rim and before hollowing the bowl part of it. Hope that makes sense.

thanks, yes makes perfect sense. I thought that you may have had cunning and clever way to do them on the lathe :oops: and it was puzzling me :)
