I have been making some fitted wardrobes for me lady, i am planning on having doors that overlap so i dont have to worry about having things perfect. The doors are going to be mdf with a veneer of maple on the top middle bottom to make them look like real doors. What hinges are best to use and how much should the overlap be on the hinge side? Thanks

personally I use blum fittings for pretty much everything, there are some more commonly used ones which will probably be cheaper, but they do ones for pretty much every door thickness, cabinet thickness, overhang, opening angle you can think of. have a look on the blum website for detailed info, whilst perhaps looking at a suppliers site to see the most common. I use ldl to buy mine but they are trade only, they have a public site as well, but I can't remember the site name off the top of my head.

Thanks Nathan, looked found ordered. By the way Nathan what happened to that RAS you started?

still in bits, I want to get some spraying equipment, wasn't sure whether to post on here, as didn't seem a huge amount of interest. also in bits is my pillar drill, my edgebander needs replacing etc etc.

Do you have a link for your Blum hinge supplier?

I'm trade so interested in prices. Cheers
