There seem to be a good few dust separators available. Omni, Woodstock, Big horn & Dust commander to name just a few.
I'm looking at making a DIY extraction set up. Space is tight and so is money so at the moment I intend to use a Tenant pneumatic vacuum as the source with a medium tub for the cyclone to sit on. Not the most powerful I know (but surprisingly powerful for its size) but in the future I will most likely look into building my own snail extractor and fit it above the garage rafters. That way it will keep floor space available and I could potentially exhaust it through the roof so long as there is not too much dust getting through. But sound levels will also have to be a consideration as the garage is attached to our house.
Which seperators have you tried and what was your opinion of them?
And if you built your own extractor, how did you get on with that?
