Morning all, I want to purchase some carnuba wax and apply it to small turned items. Reason for wanting carnuba over other finishes are that I'm mostly interested in the natural aspects of the wax. I've tried beeswax beforebut didn't like the softness.

Are all carnuba products born equal? I'm guessing some are actually a blend of a few things. Is pure carnuba, usable? (not to hard).

Oh okay cool, that wouldn't be a problem (the heat bit).

I noticed you can buy it in grain form on ebay... Would it just be a matter of melting it and setting it into a bar form you think? Could be good fun! And might be able to add a small amount of beeswax for softness if it was to hard.
