Hi,

I've recently bought a second hand lathe and some chisels but need to sharpen them!

I've been doing some research but most of the recommendations I can find are a few years old and the product links don't work.

I have found two solutions and hoped for a bit of advice.

This one already contains a white stone which I think is best:
I can't post links but Googling this should work: record-power-rsbg6-6-bench-grinder-with-40mm

This one has a belt sander which I read was also a good option (I think I read it was easier to use on chisels), or I could change the grey wheel for a white one:

Thanks,
Chris

The Record Power six or eight inch with white wheel and a home made rest will be more than fine. If and when you feel like pushing the boat out a Robert Sorby Pro-edge.
