What was this worth?

I bid on this Wadkin saw at the weekend.

I placed a maximin of £302, it went for £410.

Any thoughts on the right price for this sort of kit?

I don't know what a good price would be, but,
to buy an old piece of machinery from ebay without
being able to give it the once-over first, must be inviting
great sadness and woe
According to various articles and books i've read

Interesting one Dave, I would have thought it was a pretty good price, especially with delivery included. My only real reservation would concern the comment on the riving knife or lack of it. If it was simply missing OK - if one cannot be fitted at all I would not be keen; I would then wish to see if an Americxan stlye spliter could be incorporated.

The damaged bracket on the sliding table could probably be repaired or replaced I would guess.
