Old pallets by the look of it!
Could be anything, looks like a lot of smaller pieces laminated together, depends where it comes from, looks like it could be any kind of generic Asian hardwood, aka pallets :D

Its definitely wood.................. possibly.
But seriously, I am getting a bit fed up with " newbies ". Really how do you expect anyone to say what type of wood this is from a photo, let alone a photo taken yards away from the timber and fuzzy.
Sorry for the rant, but come on, can we have a bit of common sense here!

have you not seen my post its Glulam

Glued laminated timber, also called Glulam, is a type of structural timber product comprising a number of layers of dimensioned timber bonded together with durable, moisture-resistant structural adhesives. In North America the material providing the laminations is termed 'laminating stock' or lamstock for short, but this is how its made NOT what timber it is.

Usually they're from a single Commercially Named timber, which is problematic in so much as those usually comprise several diferent (sometimes quite divergent) speicies... Usually gluelam is European Redwood or equivalent American softwoods.

Glulam is nothing like that stuff in the picture. I know: I bought four large >4m beams last year to support the floor of our attic. The factory happens to be down the road from us at Avonmouth.

For a start all the pieces have to be the same sort of timber, then there are limits on the size and positions of knots, then there's the special glue used and assembly under pressure. It's very far from "any wood stuck together".

The makers claim it's stronger than steel weight-for-weight, and certainly if I'd used steel instead of glulam, we'd have had serious difficulty getting them into position because of the weight. Glulam was literally the only practical solution to the problem.

To me, it looks like pallet wood in the picture.

Mostly walnut sapwood I think, they seen to have found a way to make money from the bits everybody throws away.

At last! A use for all those off-cuts I have stored in that dark corner of the shop! I have enough for a dining suite maybe.
Glulam... Yep, I could do that! 8)

Thanks for tracking down the website BB. Unfortunately the words seem to be assembled using the same method of randomly throwing together any old bits and pieces. This is the caption to the picture:

"Bagno Sasso isn’t just regarding items – these people perform interior planning tasks as well, such as this fashionable bedroom interior design that people tend to be therefore thrilled to talk about right here these days. It’s a part of the improvement known as Alpine Chic – plus they possess taken the substance of this concept completely.

The wonder here’s which while you might state this bedroom interior design is very luxurious using its daring, uncommon canopy bed and delicious furs, it’s additionally really inviting and calming – a mixture that’s really appealing although not very easy to attain. Bagno Sasso has been doing an excellent work, don’t you believe? Wish to observe much more? Go to Bagno Sasso."

You certainly can't argue with that!!
