A band saw comes in really useful when you get fed up of making standard straight edged boards…and opens up totally new design ideas..
 
A rip saw, an under over planer ( neither have to be large ) - these will cut and dress the sections of the chopping boards.
Clamps to glue the sections together
A small rotary drum sander - you can then feed the "rough" glued ( full width ) board through and produce a perfectly flat and finished surface - ready to oil
That's all you need to produce as many boards as you like, in the shortest time.

Great workshop build pics, I really liked the evolution of the benches and shelves etc,
It's giving me some inspiration as ive just finished my workshop too but you are further down the line than me as I'm still messing around painting walls...

I won't offer any advice as I'm still very much learning rather than teaching when it comes to workshops 😅 but I'm watching the thread now
