What method/jigs are people using to set up planer knives

Regardless of setting method nicked blades are not the end of things if they are still sharp. Just move the blades sideways in opposite directions 1 or 2 mm so the nicks are no longer in line. No more ridge on the wood.

I use a strick with two pencil marks to set the knives on my Stenberg KEV600. The cutter width is 610mm so theese are some rather full size knives.
It took some training but once I had done it half a dozen times or so the method proved to be both fast and easy.
