that 's it, what size pitch is the thread on teh top of a bowlsaver toolpost rest ?

Maybe I can knock one up on the Holbrook now it has been recommissioned.
seems expensive for six inches of 1 " bar......
 
Don't know, but you might want to specify which bowl saver you mean.

I know of three makes, Kelton, Oneway & Woodcut. :)

I can do that, any inch pitch thread is easy :) another project for the Holbrook :) and.. I have some inch bright bar here already ... Just need to find the centre for the tailstock, or buy a new one.... maybe even use one from my wood turning lathe.
