What are they and what are they used for

I purchased a few woodworking tools in the auctions and these were in with the job lot ,What are they do you know and if so what are they used for thanks' Mock

They look very much like Pellet catchers/Target holders used by Air rifle & Pistol shooters & nothing to do with woodwork.

This, they are about £6-£8 new with 100 targets.

Agree with toonie. I had one just like that when I was young. The catcher prevents ricochets and mess when practising in say a garage.

mock check around your area to see if there are any shooting clubs or gun shops that would know of any. They would probably be pleased to have them and might give you a few pints.
