Went yesterday for the first time in about three years, it has changed a lot, except there is still not enough seating, finding a place to eat your lunch at 1pm is nearly impossible. I stopped by the Classic Hand tools tent and I wondered why they had bothered, I did nearly buy the new Lie Nielsen 610 low angle jack rebate plane but as there was nowhere to try it I didn`t bother, just as well as it turned out because Veritas has one coming out soon with a side fence, it looks to be a more useful plane.
Far more kids things their now which a lot of families were enjoying, there was also a stall selling handmade knife blades, similar to Japanese blades, I took the mans card but now I can`t find it, if anyone knows the name of the company please let me know.

Regards, Mark

Possibly Nic Westermann? (as in my shortlist, above!)

I agree that it has expanded a lot from what used to be a specialist event, but I like the way that there is still enough woodworker-friendly stuff alongside plenty of other options for those with families. I overheard more than one person on Tony Murland's tool stand saying that they had successfully distracted their families, leaving them free to browse.

A couple of shots taken for me by Laurie Sayer, (TATHS member).

Certainly an enthusiastic bunch of guys with an appreciation of old style workmanship.
