Well Its finally in place

My new metalworking lathe arrived from its former home in Holland a few weeks ago, much too heavey to lift I waited until I had a good sized space and a couple of friends around to do some shifting \/ Well Done Jorden \/ . Oh yes the lathe its a Knaus Universal 450 of German Origin.
After a quick sort of the electrics and fitting a suitable plug it fired up and spun freely.
The lathe was skip fodder when i rescued it so I got it for free

I'll post a photo when I take one

It's a lovely lathe Bean, compact without being too small, simple yet very capable, old, but not at all worn out, but it sure is HEAVY!


New vertebrae please :shock:
