We certainly know what high water charges are all about in Cornwall.

All because of the SAS (State Assisted Surfers), who continually whinge about the bathing water quality, with the consequence we all have sky high water charges in Cornwall, so they can spend their life prancing about on lumps of polystyrene in the wave’s.

Am I bitter, you bet your life I am.

Take care.

If you're going to put up a petition for the population, for goodness sake get someone else too read it first

"It is time for the well healed owners of our water industry to get out of the trough. "

Were they sick?

You need to get out more - in fact a bit of surfing could do you good! You can't beat them - join them.
I think clean rivers and beaches area a good idea. A lot of people benefit, not just surfers.

With nearly a quarter of Cornwall`s gross domestic product coming from tourism I`d have thought clean seas etc were paramount.

Regards.

I go to Cornwall every year, I don't think I'd go if I knew there was Poo in the water. Chris have you thought about volunteering to start a new scheme where you pay no water rates provided you keep your own wee and poo?

At £1160 a year, I'm seriously looking into it . A system for doing it, I mean. Not the poo. And rainwater harvesting. One of the problems is that 90% of the water polution is caused by shipping, and we get caned for that as well.
