Hi all
First post here after lurking and picking up the odd tip here and there in the past.
Other than odd bits of joinery around the house, I'm starting my first woodworking project and looking for a few ideas.
Currently I'm looking at installing a water feature in our garden, previous owner kept Koi so we have a pond and we're not overly in to keeping fish.
I'm planning to build a frame for the water feature using pocket holes to joining some treated timber together, but currently wondering about what to clad the outside of the box in.
Mostly the examples I've seen online have been done in decking but I can't see that lasting very long, so I was thinking cedar (expensive) or potentially something like larch.
Looking around at most of the standard timber yards, doesn't really seem like the sort of thing so guessing it might be something I need to order online for delivery.
