walnut and spalted conker bowls

The walnut came from the BWA's auction last night. Beautiful stuff if a little brittle and dusty to turn. Also a right pig to get a finish on the end grain sections. The conker is just from my pile as usual. Both reversed with cole jaws to finish the bases which are slightly concave to aid stability.
