Hi All

going to look at this the weekend
wb.JPG

all I know it is 12" and 3ph

the 3ph bit will have to go :(

can anyone tell me what I should look for ..in the way of problems etc

I am assuming it is easy to rip off the motor etc and fit a single phase

depends what you want the saw for, is that one not more for ripping down bigger stuff? better home workshop size is ags I would have thought.

someone will be along in a moment who knows what to look for.

Have you got a decent power supply into your workshop?
42 amps total
10mm armour

2 breakers are only 16 but have one as dedicated 16 amp radial..is that enough ?
other 2 are 5 amps for lighting

is that not an AGS ?
just to rip down 12" wide timbers
maybe the odd bit of plywood

It will need a guard mounted from a corner post and a riving knife but do not let that put you off
both items with it

just not fitted

Is this a tilt arbor saw? - I can see a blade height adjuster wheel on the front of the saw but not one for tilting the blade. I would expect an adjuster wheel for tilting the blade to be on the left side of the saw.

Bit strange - you do know you the saw is being sold on eBay and ends on Sunday. Are you looking to buy it before the auction ends?
never knew that

but will go take a look anyhow and see what is up for

It looks awfully like one of the early Sedgwick saw benches but it has a wadkin badge on it. It isn't a tilting one. You have to tilt the fence and hold the wood against it. I wouldn't like to use it. It could be fine if you only want to rip timber at 90 degrees.
