Wadkin Bursgreen BFT 16" Surface planer

Hi. Does anybody know how to take the tables off this machine ? wadkin do a manual for the 9" & 12" but not for the 16" (Scott & Sargeant list one but it's for a 12") The difference between the 12" & 16" is on the 12" the tables fit between the side castings and the 16" fits over them. We need to take the front table off because it is extremely difficult to adjust probaly owing to the acumilation of years of dust etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. schnapps95
