Visit to Axminster

I was in High Wycombe today and couldn't resist making a detour to the Axminster store on Cressex Industrial Estate. There were 3 or 4 other guys in there slowly walking up and down the isles of tools - we must have looked like kids in a sweet shop. I was lucky today, I came out with just a Crown marking knife. The staff there are so helpful and courteous making a visit even more enjoyable.

I am green with envy, trouble is I would not trust myself to visit Axminster Tools.

Earlier this evening on or local news. Axminster (MD) is running an (Alan Sugar) type apprentice scheme within Axminster Tools, at Axminster, to select ten extra managers, for their business .

They were tasked with purchasing sausages, cooking them at a local market and selling them, they were split into two teams, the wining team will get management training, plus other perks, the loosing team will get to clean the warehouse. :lol:

I know which team I would be on.
I will go and get my mop and bucket.
