Hi I have been offered this vise. I think it is a patternmakers vise but I'm not to sure and I think there is a bit missing. See pics attached. Hope someone can help

Yes you have a Pattern Makers vise.
Normally there is a method of tilting these vises up. That does not appear in the photos.
Pattern Maker's Vice
Gives an idea in the bottom l/h corner of what is missing. If you can get to the bench this was last fitted to, you may be lucky.

I went and had a look at them as only 5 mins away and ended up buying the 2 of them. They have never been used.

It's rare to see one for sale, never mind two, and in that condition.
Everything appears to be there, for both, are they the Axminister variant?
Take great care fitting them, and don't drop one.
