Hi folks,
Can a metalwork fitting/jig or whatever other name be fitted to my viceroy educator wood lathe (pic attached).
I have very limited need for such a jig but it would be handy to have.
If it can be fitted has anyone got one for sale.
Best Regards...Richard

Take a look at the excellent site lathes.co.uk for details of just about any lathe you are likely to come across (apart from cheap Chaiwanese trash). There it mentions a viceroy with rack etc, but I think this would be very rare. Your easiest option might be to buy a small metal turning lathe, probably would be cheaper than what you are looking for, certainly easier to find, and would do a better job. Something like a Myford M type or a Drummond.
I have a Viceroy and a Graduate, both nice lathes, good and solid, but then you probably already know that.
