Very strong springs?

I'm trying to find some very strong springs that I can place over a bolt and compress with nuts at either end.

Like this :

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere that would sell something like this? I've tried places like ebay, but it difficult trying to judge the strength

- About 10cm in length
- Fit over an M8/M10 bolt
- Strong enough so that you can't compress with finger pressure

Citroen Picasso exhaust clamps have just the thing you're looking for, in fact the picture above is exactly that if I remember correctly. Nip down your local care spares place.

Also office type armchairs that allow you to rock back against a hefty spring.
