Yup -

Worked on pricing today (O1) - getting ready for release. PM-V11 chisels follow later (fall), as we now switch to PM-V11 plane blade production....

Lots on the go!

(who knows there are a number of sets making their way to various countries as I type.... 8) )

Does that mean we can buy them in the UK from day one?

Also, are you releasing mortice chisels?

Hi -

Still working out pricing and distribution... so can't answer that part just yet.

We'll eventually have mortise and butt chisels in addition to the bench chisels... but it takes time to develop tooling and processes (mostly tooling).

The real target here is to get everything running in PM-V11, not just A2, or O1. Production order looks something like:

1) O1 Bench Chisels
2) PM-V11 Plane blades, Bevel-up planes, Veritas planes
3) PM-V11 Bench Chisel
4) PM-V11 Plane blades, Stanley style planes
5) PM-V11 Butt Chisels
6) PM-V11 Mortise Chisels

There's a bit of method to the madness - as we have to order steel in mill runs (read lots!), and we can only split the run into two steel thicknesses or widths, we have to juggle production order to consume steel stock efficiently (this is expensive stuff!), and work within the limits of available material. Chisels alone use two bar sizes, Bevel-up planes use one sheet thickness, Stanley another, and mortise chisels probably two more....

None of this is easy - or straightforward!

Cheers -

Rob
