veneered mdf supplier up north?

Hi all, I am about to start a fitted wardrobe build for me lady and was wandering wheres a good place to source veneered mdf local to durham area. I've priced it up at arbour timber and there 19mm oak veneered is £58.50 a sheet. I always like to get a few prices before I buy. Also which is better veneered mdf or ply. I plan to use it for the doors with lippings

Try Percy Hudson in North Shields.

I've just used them for black walnut veneered mdf for a wardrobe and am pleased with the result. Because of the weight I opted for solid wood framed doors with 9 mm mdf sheets rather than lippings which would need to be thicker of course.

veneered ply was much more expensive (but possibly not so heavy?)
