Not done much turning as making wooden models Now they are finished I can get back to turning a little more.

This was just a case of having a play with a new tool for hollowing and at the same time I thought I would add some very subtle twists to the piece. Made with Yew and stands 6" and 3 1/2" at the widest.

Nice, did you use a router for the twist?
 
As mentioned elsewhere Derek, it's the understated rim detail that caught my eye, statement without distraction.
