I seem to have developed an obsession with buying vacuum presses .........I don't need any more and yet I couldn't resist buying this one

The good thing about this model is it can run 4 bags simultaneously.

Don't knock Morris dancing, I did it once - if you get threatened by loads of big blokes in fancy dress with big sticks, I bet you would too!

No, I'm still collecting just not quite so prolifically, 20 ish at last count, all used nearly on a daily basis, 12 of them are fixed in table set ups. 8 around one bench on swing up tables.
I must post a picture.

I'd be really interested to see your set up, in particular which insert plates you use.
I have a phenolic one which is generally OK but it does sag a little under the weight of a Trend 9. I'm guessing you must have beefier routers than that so will have a solution.

Just screwed to 18mm birch ply with a 50mm hole. Birch ply on hinges so they swing under the bench when not in use.
Following set up
Profile and scribe for spanish edge (2 x DW625)
4mm round over (trend t5)
shaker door profile (dw625)
drawer bottom groove (elu )
chamfer (dw625)
staff bead (dw625)
Ovolo edge profile (trend t10)
Plus a couple of tables

Extraction is done from above using magnets to clip on a flexi extension to the main extraction.

The real advantage of all this is set up time, my labour per man is about £35-£40 an hour, so if someone takes 15mins to set up a router it's cost me nearly a £10, very quickly get the return from investing in a few routers.

I did think that you might have discrete routing stations and the figures obviously more than justify that.
