Very off topic really so posting it here....

Had a bit of a tool frenzy this week, as some of my stuff currently lives in the living room I need to swap boxes.

OK, So on Monday I went to the Festool Roadshow and returned with a Festool Domino 500 and the Systainer full of Dominos and cutters. Other half didn't bat an eyelid. Ordered another DeWalt T-Stak container that was delivered Tuesday to house my sanders as they didn't come with hard cases.

Wednesday- Bought a second hand DeWalt cordless Circular saw and an 18V finish nailer which I picked up on Saturday.

Got home and my partner says, I much prefer the look of the grey and green boxes to the yellow and black ones, can you buy the ones in the grey with green writing next time? :)

OMG, OK, She really does appreciate the things I make but after she has instructed me to buy more Festool over DeWalt I may propose ;)

She won't like it when I tell her the Grey and Green is very expensive ;)

She's a keeper,
My work bench is in my lounge "no joke" with all my tools!! Boxes and boxes and shelves full. I even have a sharpening and pillar drill set up in far corner.
My lounge isn't even that big (1 bed flat)
Not a problem to her but......

If I leave the toilet seat up or forget to close the fridge :(

when I got my lathe circa 18 months ago, it was ruddy freezing in the garage so I assembled it in the dining room, right next to the Christmas tree.....and proceeded to turn things in a sort of 2 week mad frenzy. Once I'd sanded a few things the fine dust was getting everywhere...only then did the request come to move it to the garage. Bless :)

When I buy something I use the wife pound conversion.

That means I just divide everything by 50% and then there is consistency and she is none the wiser. With a Domino you would probably have to use the 90% conversion rate though.

LOL. Have you noticed how there's usually a florist next door to an Axminster branch :)

Haha,
That's because after we buy flowers we need to get some man toys and be tough
:)
