Yes it works perfectly, time will tell how long it lasts.

I have to say I made the mistake of buying 2 lots of these cheap Chinese copies and all 7 died pretty quickly compared to my original Makita battery which is still going strong!

My red Flouron batteries are still going strong after almost 2 years, at least as good as the original makita, and less than half price.
