Sorry about the dramatic subject line ( ie U R G E N T ) ....
but I need a quick response to a query.
Im in the process of getting a replacement Morris Traveller and have seen one which has had the ash frame either stained or oiled (not vanished) which has left it with a distinctly orangey hue. Is it possible to change this colour without damaging the surrounding bodywork?.
The reason this is urgent is that I need to get back to the guy whose selling to say if I want to go and view the car and its 130 miles away.
Many thanks,
MMD.

only if your careful and use loads of masking tape. Why - super bleach
or 2 part bleach will get the Ash back to a blond colour , wash off with viniger and water, then your ready to varnish.

All the best, HS
