Hello folks here are two new hollow forms that i've cast and then turned recently

not the best pictures i'm afraid- the surface is very glossy plus its extremly difficult to capture the true colours and iradesence of the resin, i've taken a pic in full sun to try and show the colour

both forms are around 2 5/8" wide by 3" tall

horse chestnut burr

red mallee burr

I think you're on to something there George :) !!!

Lovely forms, finish and colour of the resin goes well with the different timbers.

Would be interesting to try some where there was more timber and less resin perhaps, to see how they work, but love these :)

Cheers, Paul

Your turnings are always worth looking at, I shall have to give it a go when I get my lathe.

Hi George, I really love the contrast between the mediums. May I ask how its done. Have you ever done a wip of the process?
