I have been busy but not turning. Just finished these two jewellery boxes for someone. The first was made from reclaimed mahogany someone was throwing out and the second was a thick piece of wood from a off cut pile at a local carpenters shop.
Both finished with chestnut acrylic sander sealer and satin lacquer then lined with a sticky backed sheet of felt.

Very clever entry/exit points for the Bandsaw cuts. Got me thinking...

(1/4 inch blade?)

Yes 1/4" blade as it allows for the corners but take it slow

Love the boxes. I am just finishing a couple of bandsaw jewellery boxes and I am going to flock the interior. Got a cheap kit off eBay. Any tips?

Not used Flocking as I use sticky backed felt
