This is my first post to these forums, so hello everyone!
I am trying to find a supplier of a specialist woodworker's bolt.
I have an outdoor table that my daughter kindly broke the legs off Each leg is held in place by a bolt, and these have sheared through.
Each bolt has a coachbolt thread on one end, and a machined thread (for a nut) on the other. The idea is the coachbolt end is screwed horizontally into each leg near the top (across the diagonal of the square cross section leg). The other (machined thread) end passes through a diagonal cross brace in the table top. Screw on a nut and the leg is pulled tight into the table top subframe.
Does anyone know where I could source bolts like these?
Regards,
Julian
